D-cinema

skaitmeninis kinas statusas T sritis informatika apibrėžtis Kino filmų kūrimo, dauginimo, platinimo ir rodymo technika, pagrįsta skaitmeniniu vaizdų kodavimu. Filmuojama ↑skaitmeninėmis vaizdo kameromis. Vaizdas gaunamas kokybiškesnis negu filmuojant į kino juostą dėl didesnės skiriamosios gebos, tikslesnio spalvų perdavimo ir didesnio kadrų skaičiaus (30 kadrų per sekundę, o įprastame kine 24). Kopijavimas ir dauginimas kompaktiniuose diskuose pigus ir paprastas. Rodymui reikia specialiai šiam tikslui skirto mikroveidrodinio arba skystųjų kristalų projektoriaus. Nuo kopijavimų arba rodymų skaičiaus skaitmeninio filmo kokybė nesikeičia (įprastos filmų juostos nuo rodymo susibraižo ir jų kokybė prastėja). Tačiau skaitmeniniuose projektoriuose atskirų vaizdo elementų rodymo komponentai sugenda ir tada defektas išlieka visuose filmo kadruose. atitikmenys: angl.
